Responsibilities
The Departments which fall under the purview of the Office of the Prime Minister are:

- Government Printery
The Prime Minister's Office has responsibility for the Cabinet Secretariat and the Government Printery. It is committed to providing for citizens and visitors and quality production of information to foster social and economic growth. Other responsibilities of the Office of the Prime Minister include:
- National Awards
- Elections (subject to Section 56 of the Constitution)
- Service Commissions and Board of Appeal (Subject to Sections 84 (13) and 93(10) of the constitution
- Contribution to Regional and International Organizations
- Non-Governmental Organizations
- Craft Development

Description and Organisational structure
The structure consists of the Honourable Prime Minister who has overall responsibility of the Office of the Prime Minister. The Cabinet Secretariat and the Government Printery are managed by the Secretary to the Cabinet, who is the chief administrative and accounting officer. The work of the Secretary to the Cabinet is complemented by technical and support staff from the various departments. The Prime Minister and his staff are responsible for policy formulation and quality production of information.
